Abstract

It is with great academic pride and editorial responsibility that we introduce this issue of Clareus Scientific Science and Engineering (CSSE), an international, peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing scholarly communication across the broad spectrum of science and engineering. With an inclusive vision and a strong interdisciplinary ethos, CSSE serves as a vital platform where fundamental scientific research and applied engineering innovation converge.

As articulated in our mission, CSSE aims to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and technological development, ensuring that novel insights in the laboratory can effectively inform, influence, and accelerate real-world solutions. In doing so, the journal fosters a holistic approach to knowledge creation—one that is responsive to the pressing challenges and opportunities of our time.

We take pride in publishing a diverse array of scholarly contributions, including original research articles, reviews, mini-reviews, short communications, opinion pieces, perspectives, editorials, and letters to the editor. This wide scope allows for nuanced academic dialogue, early dissemination of emerging ideas, and the synthesis of existing knowledge, thereby strengthening the global scientific discourse.

CSSE covers a broad range of disciplines, spanning the natural sciences—such as biological sciences, chemistry, geological and earth sciences—and the full gamut of engineering fields, including electrical, civil, mechanical, chemical, petroleum, computer science, and systems engineering. We believe that the cross-pollination of ideas between these domains not only enriches individual fields but also sparks transformative innovations that cut across traditional academic silos.

Every manuscript submitted to CSSE undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by a panel of eminent scholars and experts.
